2020 is when trees were first cut to begin to widen the county road and have the center pier removed with new railroad bridge installed.
Lots of sizes went in to help pull water off Cty 86, along with storm drain collection ponds dug south of 86 also.
Many will recall when Castle Rock had a center pier, whenever it rained...there was a puddle to drive through.
With no center pier, the county projected the need to drain more water from the road.
