Harvey (Buster) Richard Ozmun 99, passed away peacefully on March 31,2024 at the Northfield Retirement Center. Harvey was born on July 29th 1924 in West Union, MN to Charles and Dora Ozmun.

The youngest of 8 children, he attended school south of Northfield and finished 8th grade at Waterford school house. While living on the Dickson farm, he helped raise cattle and took care of 11 horses and a mule. He milked 40 cows by hand, which his sisters delivered to Northfield in cans.

Buster met his true love, Evelyn Corinne Hasslen in 1945. She was a city girl, and they were married on October 25,1947 at Zion Lutheran Church in St. Paul and moved to the farm outside of Farmington in1950.

Evelyn and Buster were loving parents to their five children. His passion was in farming, raising corn, soybeans, hogs and milking cows. Evelyn and Buster enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Branson, and Texas with family and friends. They loved to play cards and hosted many parties for neighbors and friends.

He is survived by his children, Ron (Carol) Ozmun, Ankeny IA, Nancy (Lyle) Gunderson, Northfield, MN, Mary (Mike) Graff, Snohomish, WA, James (Candi) Ozmun, Farmington MN. Grandchildren, Chris, Lindsay, Keith, Amy, Lori, Mark, Pat, Lisa, Katie, Greg and Phil.

Great-grandchildren, Logan, Kyleigh, Kennedey, Kjerstyn, Kinsley, Allison, Rachel, Hayli, Madalynn, Riley, Sabine, Lilou, Ottilie, Eva and Hailey. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Evelyn on March 5, 2013, son, Thomas in 1978, parents and Siblings: Franklin Ozmun, Anne Miller, Hank Ozmun, Mae Liestman, Martha Baker, Clara Beyer, Rosie Ackerson.

Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Farmington Lutheran Church, 20600 Akin Rd., Farmington, with a visitation from 3-6 PM on Sunday (4/7) at the White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St., Farmington and also 1 hr. prior to service at church. Interment; Castle Rock Valley Cemetery. Memorial will be donated to Farmington Lutheran Church and the Castle Rock Valley Cemetery.
